Bruges is one of my favourite towns in Belgium. It feels like you’re back in the Middle Ages.
Although it can be very touristy, it’s not to be missed if you’re visiting Belgium. Walking around the cobbled streets or going by boat on the canals is the best way to explore this medieval town.
The museums have great collections of Flemish art, the architecture is well maintained and you can buy locally made lace and watch how it’s made.
But then again, you could also go there and stuff your face with chocolate or have a nice cold Belgian beer.
